Music Monday | Choi Cello — Fall

Hello my BAYOG luvlies~ We’re back at it again with another Music Monday: Autumn Edition post!~ We still goin’ with chill tracks that are perfect for the autumn vibes~ Today’s track is “Fall” by Choi Cello!~ It’s a soft, smooth, and somewhat dreamy indie/R&B track. I will honest, today’s post is going to be hella short. Choi Cello is an indie/Krnb artist, and honestly…I don’t have much information on her… Still, that’s the beauty and purpose of Music Monday. I want to be able to share some music and artists that might not be as well known~

Again, I don’t really have much information on Choi Cello (최첼로), like at all. What I can tell you is that Choi Cello is considered an indie and K-R&B artist. All I can really tell you is that she’s a singer-songwriter and composer under INPLANET MUSIC. She made her solo debut in February 2020 with the single “네가 없는 밤을 상상해(Night Without You)”. She typically falls under R&B, soul, and indie. Other than “Fall”, some of her other tracks that I like are [“View”], [“Coloring”], [“Blue”], [“Thirsty (Acoustic Version)”], and [“네가 없는 밤을 상상해(Night Without You)”]. Okay…honestly, I just realized that I just basically named all of her songs LMAO. But they are really nice tracks. They’re super chill to listen and vibe to. She also just has such a very relaxing voice to listen to. It’s soulful, yet dreamy and relaxing. I also recommend her [live clip of “Thirsty”]. It’s sooooo good~

“Fall” was released November 18, 2020. I believe it was also Choi Cello’s fourth single. It’s a soft and dreamy R&B track with a touch of soul. I just absolutely am in love with the beat and vibe of the track. Choi Cello’s voice is also just soulful and dreamy at the same time. It’s a really chill and easy-going track that I think is perfect for an autumn drive or to listen to while drinking some coffee.

Yeah, I couldn’t find accurate translations for the lyrics. My basic Koreaboo Korean could only pick up a couple words and phrases. Still, I love this song, and I’m so happy I stumbled upon it last year. Choi Cello has such lovely voice and is super pretty too. I love how chill her music is too. It’s perfectly my style. The music video pretty much suits that easy-going vibe of the track as well. It’s just basically like a compilation of simple clips of home videos. There’s no story. It’s just aesthetic really, but it fits lol.
