Music Monday|ELO — Cupcake (Feat. punchnello)

Hello again my BAYOG luvs!~ I’m here again!~ We already covered pH-1’s “Nerdy Love” for today’s earlier Music Monday. I bring you another extra Music Monday post today~ This post is on ELO’s “Cupcake” and features punchnello. It’s a fun, bright, and sweet K-R&B track~ Again, I’ll be making this shorter than usual due to my current injury. Most likely I’ll come back and add any extra info once I’m better and it’s more convenient to type~

Elo (엘로) is his stage name, but his real name is Oh Min Taek (오민택). He’s a K-R&B singer signed under Jay Park’s AOMG. He debuted in 2016 with his Eight Femmes album. My personal favorites with Elo is: [“Rose”], [“LOVE?”] with Penomeco and Gray, [“Angel”] with Simon Dominic, and [“Tattoo”] with Jay Park. I also love all of his GRADATION tracks. As for punchnello (펀치넬로), his real name is Lee Yeong Shin (이영신). He’s a well known rapper who competed in and won [Show Me the Money 8]. He’s also signed under AOMG. I love his track [“us”]. I also love his [ordinary.] EP. All the tracks were produced by 0channel, who was the other member of [offonoff] with Colde.

“Cupcake” is a sweet, feel good kind of Korean R&B track that dropped back in June 2020. It features labelmate punchnello rapping on the track. Simply said, it’s just a happy and really sweet sounding track…like a cupcake~ (I’m hungry and want a cupcake now…) I just really loved the track since it dropped. It’s one of the songs that always put me in a good mood~
