Hello my BAYOG luvs~ It’s yo’ girl Minty~ As y’all know, I spend alot of time reading manhwa/webtoons and manga~ Since Valentines is here and it’s the season of love, I figured I’d share some romance series that I’ve been enjoying~ These are the cute ones with sweet and fluffy moments. Although there is one smut one, but it’s still cute. I’m a romanticist and a fangirl. I just really love sweet, wholesome, and fluffy moments~ I’m the person who’ll sit there and smile and squeal like a doofus while I’m reading. It got to the point that my family looks at me and they’re like, “Are you okay? Why are you smiling by yourself? You look crazy…What’s wrong with you??” Anyway, I figured I’d share the love~ Perhaps y’all are looking for some cute reads yourself! The list isn’t in any particular order, but let’s go!~

This series is just super sweet and fluffy~ The art is so pretty too! I love the characters. Yuki is a sweetheart. Itsuomi is just an interesting guy and I feel like I could be friends with him. Since he loves to travel and learn languages. It’s also interesting and different because Yuki is deaf and uses sign language and texts on her phone. It’s a great story to think of a perspective and struggles we may not always think about. It’s really sweet how much Yuki likes Itsuomi, and how much he likes her. I love how they’re both helping each other expand their world and perspectives. They’re just super, duper sweet~

Again, this is a sweet and fluffy series. It’s not like you’re smacked with super sweet moments though. It’s like gradually sweet. It’s a slow, and easy going kind of pace. A very slice of life series. It follows some awkward high schoolers who attend the same cram school. They both walk home in the same direction. So they begin to gradually get closer during their 30 minute walks together. Y’all know I’m not that big of a fan of high school kind of romance series anymore. I guess it’s because I’m older now, so it’s harder for me to get into them. However, I really liked this one. I didn’t find it annoying or cringey. Rather, I thought it was sweet and pretty relatable. I liked that it had a realistic, yet light-hearted feel.

Ah! I love this one~ This is story centers around two childhood friends. They were very close. Rather than just close friends, their relationship seemed to be more like a “some”. Basically, their relationship seemed to be more than friends, but not quite lovers. It’s a story that about these two friends who are now college students, trying to figure out just what their relationship is. Again, I liked the aspect where this is something that can (and does) happen in real life. This series just also really stuck to me because I could relate to it. I’m sure anyone who’s had a “some” type of relationship can relate. Also, I just really love the art for this one too~ There was supposed to be a live action drama with Seo Kangjun (Baek In Ho from [Cheese in the Trap]). However, we never really had any updates on it for nearly 2 or so years now.

As you all know, this pandemic got me into alot of manhwa and novels; Especially manhwa based on novels. Most of them have been on the more serious and/or heavy side. The Stereotypical Life of a Reincarnated Lady is great because it’s much more light-hearted and comedic. The art is also gorgeous. It’s different and really charming. I also love the way the coloring is done. It kind of reminds me of watercolors. The series is cute and super funny too. The misunderstandings are just really silly, cute, and hilarious. I also really love Kylus. I like how he isn’t a tsundere or a jerk who’s full of himself; Like many male leads in these stories are. He’s genuinely a nice guy. He’s just socially awkward (not good with social cues and norms), has no interest in courting ladies, and normally has no interest outside of fighting (being strong), and work. However, he’s really interested in Valerie. He’s a sweetheart and like a puppy~ As far as manhwa and Korean novels go, this is a really sweet and fluffy one~ It’s pretty wholesome too~

Okay… Yes, the synopsis makes it sound weird. It seems weird at first, but it’s actually really sweet. It’s just one of those ridiculous kind of stories, but it has plenty of fluff, and wholesome, heartwarming moments.

Okay, first let’s get this out of the way: this series is NSFW. It’s got smut, and it’s pretty spicy. So I don’t recommend trying to read this in work or public. Again, I’m usually not really about smut. I’m more of a fluff gal. However, despite the spicy smut scenes, the series is actually really sweet. It’s another series about childhood friends becoming lovers. Again, I like that this is somewhat realistic, or rather you can see this happening in real life. Hijiri and Koyori are really sweet together, and they feel like a realistic couple. The other thing I really like about this series is that they’re actually pretty logical. It’s a really healthy relationship, and I love that they actually have trust and communicate.

This was one of the sweetest manga series I’ve read this year~ You basically have a witch who is kind hearted and weak-willed. Then you have this kouhai who is very reliable, straightforward, but kind. Being a witch makes it a bit difficult for her. Especially because it has caused issues, and can make it a bit hard for her to get close to people. However, he’s understanding and embraces her for who she is. It’s just a cute office-romance kind of series~

*sigh* Let me get a quick rant out. I don’t like the official English title. I think it sounds kind of dumb. I mean the original “My Husband Hides His Beauty” also sounds like “…WTF…??” However, I feel like the official English title just sounds weird in that it doesn’t feel like it fits the historical setting? IDK, whatever. Anyway… this is another pretty sweet and fluffy manhwa based on a novel series. First off, the art is gorgeous. Erden is a top notch bishieeeee~ But I love how sweet and fluffy it is. Again, alot of these manhwa series and K-novels tend to have rough male leads. Erden is a complete sweetheart though. He’s legitimately kind, understanding, and just a good guy. He’s best boiiii~ I love this series because of how sweet and wholesome Letitia and Erden’s relationship and actions are. It’s just really refreshing to have a sweet and wholesome relationship from the get-go. It’s also so incredibly sweet how Erden is always hyping Letitia up. He’s always like, “WIFE!~” while his eyes are like sparkling puppy dog eyes~

Ice Guy and the Cool Female Colleague

Ah! I love this one~ This one is also super wholesome, sweet, and funny. Basically you have a guy who is a descendent of Yuki-onna (Snow Woman). Yes, that Yuki-onna from the famous Japanese folklore. Anyway, he works in an office and has a crush on his cool female colleague. He can never seem to confess to her, but he’s always happy with their interactions. Every time he gets happy, his snow powers kick in. It’ll suddenly snow, things will suddenly freeze, little snowmen will appear, etc. It’s a light-hearted, fun, and sweet office romance series~
