BAYOG Covers|BTS — Dynamite (Short) + Ukulele Version
HI BAYOG FAAAAM~ It’s me again~ It’s been a while, but I have two covers for you~ But first things first… Like I said before, I’ve been nearing some burn out. Therefore, I’ll be taking a bit of a break. Probably for about a week or two. But I’ll talk about that at the end. Anyway, I honestly have wanted to work on some music for months. However, I haven’t had the time or circumstances to do so. I was focused on subbing and bringing some posts to you guys~ I honestly try to put up at least 1-2 posts a week. I was pretty fired up since our blog has grown so much. I feel like I’ve finally really accepted and feel like I’m a blogger. It’s also been so lovely to make new friends in the blogging community, and readers of our blog! I just write and post to post. I usually assume no one reads it except for friends, like Jess. Still, I also blog in hopes that someone enjoys or relates to it. To my surprise, we apparently actually have readers/fans??? It honestly makes my day to see you reach out to me to tell me you enjoy the blog, and to actually want to discuss these topics with me. You guys are so amazing and it’s been fun getting to know you~
Anyway, one of my new friends includes [nabe-chan] from [Geeknabe]~ She tweeted about buying and wanting to learn how to play the ukulele. We got into a bit of a conversation about playing the ukulele. I also bought and started teaching myself how to play the ukulele when I was in university. Although, I’m incredibly awful at it LOL I can only do really basic strumming. Anyway, our conversation got me into the mood to want to bring my little travel soprano ukulele out~ So I did a short little acoustic/ukulele cover of [BTS’ Dynamite]. If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram, you probably saw me post it. It’s trash cuz I was tired, out of practice, and just suck at playing and singing at the same time LOLOL It was still fun though~

Actually, I had originally planned on doing a cover of BTS’ Dynamite since the song first dropped. However, I don’t have time or circumstances to allow me to record things as much anymore. My family is loud AF. So it’s not opportune to record anything. I did actually try to work on a cover within the small windows of opportunity I did get to be home alone and in silence. Unfortunately, the file kept crashing in Audacity. So I could never finish it.
Two months later, I stumbled on the file again. Gave it another try. I was able to export what I had before it crashed on me again LOL So here’s the incomplete demo of my trash cover of BTS’ Dynamite! Mind you, I never got to finish recording or editing anything. I also don’t even remember WTF I was doing with this file. Also, I’m shit at mixing audio. So I know that sucks already LOL It’s another reason why I don’t do as many covers anymore… If anyone wants to work together on some covers, and probably do the audio editing/mixing… let me know~ Anyway, here ya go~ Sorry it’s trash LOL Please be gentle with me…

Minty Will Be Taking A Mini-Break
Again, I’ve been starting to feel some burn out. Although, most of it seems to be due to me subbing two series. Fortunately, I am finished with subbing one show. So that took off alot of pressure for me, and I was able to get a bit more me time. Being able to finally and actually be able to hang out with friends through Discord or play games has also helped so much! Still, a bit of a break would be nice. Especially since I’m also super behind on my reading heheh~ The bros also urged me to take a bit of a break as well. I honestly started feeling it in the middle of October. Which is another reason why Spoop Fest 2020 wasn’t what I had originally planned. Still I wanted to try to do what I could with Spoop Fest. So that’s why I was waiting to finish Spoop Fest before deciding to take a break. Honestly, the other reason is because our blog has been doing pretty well getting alot of views and visitors. We’re basically getting like 4-5x the views and visitor we originally got a year ago???!! We’ve only been on an upward trend. So I didn’t really want us to lose momentum. It just seemed like a shame. That’s the other reason why I kept putting off taking a break.
However, I think I’ll probably take a week off from blogging to organize some thoughts and ideas. And to just relax of course~ I want to be able to work on a backlog and not pressure myself to post within a schedule… Even though I’m the one who set the schedule for myself… lol So you’ll probably just see one scheduled post within the next week or two.
