Webtoon|The Remarried Empress — Official English Version Out!

HEY BAYOG FAM! This is just a really short and simple announcement post! You all know how much I loved the [Remarried Empress] webtoon and novel. It’s really popular, and I honestly was surprised that it hadn’t gotten an official English version yet. Well guess what? It’s happened!

Line Webtoons has officially begun English publication of The Remarried Empress. You can find the official English version [HERE]. The first chapter was published on September 5th! I’m honestly, super stoked. Like I was really trying to drag everyone into this series with me. I need people to rant to, and to hate on Trashta and Sovieshit with! I was wondering why we suddenly had a surge of views. I guess people had been looking for more information on the series and stumbled upon my previous post.

So first off, welcome y’all. Welcome to all the frustration with Trashta and Sovieshit, but also the brilliant moments of Navier, and the sweet Heinley is best boy moments. You’re all in for a long ride. Only real spoiler I’ll tell you is this: Yes, they can outdo their stupid trash selves. Yes, you will hate them more. They’re trash and belong in the trash. I seriously hate them. Just a warning, your frustration and blood pressure gonna hella pop off fam.

However, also welcome to Heinley x Navier moments! First off, Navier is gorgeous, intelligent, and an amazing woman. You really feel for her. Yet, you also feel amazed at how she’s able to put up with so much shit. Secondly, Heinley is freakin’ best boy. He’s seriously one of my favorite male leads of all time. He’s so sweet, smooth, yet surprisingly innocent and pure. Best thing about him is he knows a treasure when he sees one, and he’s not one of those dumb male leads that falls for stupid lies and tricks. They’re absolutely adorable together, and I can’t wait for you all to see it!

Yes, this webtoon is originally based on the webnovel of the same name. You can read English translations of it on [WordExcerpt]. However, do know that the translations had been dropped due to the request of Naver, the original publishing company. WordExcept tends to split a chapter into two chapters. So they basically stopped at the equivalent of the novel’s chapter 86-87. If y’all want to know more spoilers and can’t wait, you’ll have to hit up the NovelUpdates forum thread and read like 60+ pages of spoilers. That’s what I had to do… LOL Or if you want, message me. We can discuss spoilers through messages so we don’t spoil it for others.

I am going to miss the hilarious comments and memes from the fan-translators. Still, I’m super happy and excited. Especially because I do know what’s coming up, and I honestly can’t wait. AS A GROUP OF BIPOC, BAYOG strongly stands with Black Lives Matter. We’ve individually done several donations. Of course, donations to support the cause and support change isn’t the only thing needed. Support for the cause and change also requires conversation. Make sure to have those conversations. Aside from donating, I had several conversations with my family. I explained things to my parents, especially since some news stories were being reported inaccurately. I was afraid it’d be a bit difficult. However, as fellow BIPOC and human beings, it was a necessary conversation. My parents and grandma understand, and now stand on the same page regarding BLM as well. Please remember to be an active supporter, be it through donations, sharing information, and/or conversations and speaking up.
