Social Distancing/Quarantine Time| Minty’s Drama Recs

Helloooo friendssss!~ It’s Minty!~ I know, I’ve been away for too long. Honestly, I’m still kind of taking a break. However, given the current situation, I wanted to check up on you all. I hope you’re all doing well and are safe. I know we’re all very concerned in regards to the COVID-19/Coronavirus pandemic. Please, please, please…and I can’t stress this enough…please take care of yourselves. I know we are all (really should be) practicing social distancing, on lock-down, and/or quarantine. We’re in a tough situation. I know that we’re now trying to find something to keep us preoccupied and/or distract us from the current situation. So your girl figured she’d give you a list of drama recommendations. I’ll also be linking where you can find/watch these titles. However, I should mention that I am in the US. So these these titles may or may not be available in your region. Most of them are romance or romantic-comedies, since that’s usually my go to. Cuz a girl like’s more light-hearted stuff. However, I do have a couple other genres too to give you all some options. You’ll see some old favorites, and some new titles. I admit some of them do have flaws. However, I think these were at least some decent and pretty entertaining series. Since it is a list (of many titles), I’ll be more to the point~ I’ll basically just list the genres and things I liked about it. Then it’s up to you to choose which one you’d fancy~ I hope these help you forget all your worries for a moment, and perhaps lift your spirits a bit. If you have questions or wanna discuss something, hit me up in the comments or my socials~

  • It’s a series that doesn’t feel like a typical K-Drama. It felt almost like a Hollywood movie at times.
  • Korean-American actor David Lee McInnis is in it. Dude was in Hawaii Five-0.
  • I typically don’t like drama series from OCN. I didn’t expect to feel any investment in the drama. Yet, I found myself binge-watching it. It’s not the best, but it was surprisingly better than I thought.
  • Although it’s on the heavy and more serious side, there are some really beautifully sweet and innocent moments.
  • The action sequences were really good.
